ICC Training and Conferences was recognized as a training centre in 2006. Working closely with the ICC International Court of Arbitration and the ICC Institute of World Business Law, it has developed training programmes which meet the exact needs of professionals in international business.

What is the working material?
Participants receive a highly documented working folder which depending on the type of training, includes mock-cases, International Conventions, ICC Rules, ICC Model Contracts, speakers’ contributions and relevant key articles and case laws.
ICC's trainings and conferences are approved by various institutions, which allow the participants to gain credits for their professional education.
If you are a lawyer: You get can credits in the following jurisdictions:
- California: ICC Events is a State Bar of California approved MCLE provider;
- New York: ICC Events is eligible for CLE credit under New York's approved jurisdiction procedures;
- UK: ICC Events is a Solicitors Regulation Authority and General Council of the External CPD Course Provider;
- France: ICC Events send its trainings for approval to the Conseil National des Barreaux (CNB) in order for the participants to obtain credits; and
- Other jurisdictions: Upon request, ICC Events will provide a general certificate of attendance which can be used to make an individual application for credit.
If you are an employee in France:
All employees in France are entitled to training for their professional development (corresponding to the DIF). If you wish to benefit from this by attending our trainings, please put us in contact with your Human Resources Department.

If you are a trade finance professional:
Our trade finance events are registered with the London-based ifs School of Finance as courses for the Certified Documentary Credit Specialist Re-certification programme (CDCS*).
*The Certificate for Documentary Credit Specialists (CDCS) is the international standard qualification for documentary credit specialists, developed by both the ifs and the US-based International Financial Services Association (IFSA) and endorsed by the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC).
PDUs are recognized in the US, the UK and Ireland* and are used to quantify approved professional development activities. Typically, you earn one PDU for one hour (60 minutes) spent in a planned, structured professional development activity.
How to apply for these credits?
Please note that each bar/institution has different procedures regarding obtaining credits and therefore participants should contact the bar/institution directly regarding their procedure for obtaining the credits. Participants attending an ICC training or conference will receive a certificate of attendance in the materials. This certificate should be kept and used when contacting the relevant bar/institution regarding obtaining credits.
